Non-oriented silicon steel is a kind of special cold-rolled silicon steel material with excellent properties. It is mainly made by mixing, melting, casting, hot rolling and other raw materials such as ferrosilicon, calcium silicate and hot metal. Compared with ordinary cold-rolled silicon steel, non-oriented silicon steel has lower iron loss, higher permeability and lower coercively, so it is widely used in power transformers, motors and generators.
